Villain's Sick Beauty Sister Chapter 1: Part 1

Lu Nian remembered that she should be dead. On the way across the road to buy a new textbook, there was a car accident, and she didn’t survive.

When she opened her eyes again, what she saw was the cold winter sun shining on the iron-gray concrete floor, pale and dim.

She lowered her gaze to her feet. They were an extremely thin pair of legs, wrapped in delicate deerskin boots. She remembered that her legs were not that thin at all. Looking at her hands, they were small and tender, exposed to the sunlight — almost translucent.

“Ling Ling Ling.” Without waiting for Lu Nian to think about the changes, a ringing sound echoed in her ears. It was the most common school bell that almost everyone had heard. Lu Nian looked into the distance and saw a building. The white teaching building in the sunlight looked like a school, but it was far away from her, and the place she was in now did not seem to be a teaching area.

Lu Nian tried to move toward the wall. Her body was really weak, and walking felt much heavier than before.

After struggling to take a few steps, Lu Nian heard a loud noise not far away. She turned the corner and saw the source of the sound.

It was a group of kids, about fourteen or fifteen years old. None of them were wearing school uniforms, and their heights were uneven. Among them was a little fat boy who seemed almost as wide as he was tall, his whole body round.

Lu Nian wanted to ask them about the situation.

The little fat boy didn’t notice her. He was talking to someone with his head down in a very bad tone.

Lu Nian discovered that there was another person among them. The boy looked only eleven or twelve years old, younger than the others, with blood on his face and hands.

In winter, he wore only a thin dark sweater that was worn and pilled. His ears and exposed wrists were red from the cold. A white school uniform lay to the side, covered with dust and footprints.

Three big boys pressed down his hands and feet, pinning him to the ground so he couldn’t move.

Is this campus bullying? Bullying someone younger, and even ganging up on him.

Lu Nian was still dizzy and hadn’t figured out the situation yet, but seeing this scene naturally made her uncomfortable.

Qin Si, I’ve been sick of you for a long time,” the chubby boy said angrily, covering his still-bleeding eye.
“What are you pretending for at school every day? Still pretending now? I’ll make you keep pretending.”

He stomped hard on the boy’s body, grinding from his back to his hand.

Just a poor orphan with no parents, refusing to submit to anyone. He fights fiercely though. Several people can barely hold him down. Fortunately he is still young and has not grown yet. If he gets older, they probably will not be able to control him.

“Hold him down for me,” the little fat boy spat viciously. “Damn it, I’ll deal with you today.”

Qin Si?

Lu Nian was startled. She suddenly thought of something. She was very impressed by this name. It was the name of the villain in a novel she had just read before going to bed yesterday.

Could it be that she died and was reborn into the world of a book?

Or was it just the same name?

But there was too much contrast between the cruel villain in the book and this pale, weak boy.

The boy’s pale face was bruised blue and purple, with blood staining it. He looked miserable. Only a pair of big black eyes, bright like cold stars, stood out on that face.

He didn’t say a word, letting the fists fall on him with dull thuds. It seemed as if he felt no pain. No matter how they beat or scolded him, he didn’t show weakness.

Lu Nian couldn’t stand it anymore and walked out softly from behind the corner.

The first person to see her was Qin Si. He raised his eyes and stared at her gloomily from the corner. His gaze seemed cold to the bone.

Lu Nian was startled by the look in his eyes and couldn’t help but stop.

Does he know her? Why is he looking at her like this? It was even colder than the way he looked at those beating him.

However, now that she had stepped out, Lu Nian could only bite the bullet. Pretending not to see Qin Si’s gaze, she stepped forward.

“What are you doing?” As soon as she spoke, she realized her throat felt hoarse, and her voice was soft and weak, belonging to a little girl. “Stop hitting him.”

The crowd stopped when they heard her voice. They hadn’t noticed anyone behind the corner of the roof and were stunned.

“Niannian?” One boy stared at her hesitantly. “Why are you here?”

He was the only one in the group who didn’t look messy. He was neatly dressed, with a pale, delicate face.

Another tall boy froze when he heard the name. Pointing at Qin Si on the ground, he hesitated and said, “Lu Nian? His sister?”

“Is he worthy?” Lu Yang scoffed, looking at Qin Si with disgust. “He hasn’t even been formally adopted by my uncle. He’s just a wild child.”

Lu Nian was stunned.

Lu Nian? Is that this body’s name?

She thought carefully and found the name in the novel. The heroine wasn’t called Lu Nian. The one with this name was cannon-fodder — a minor supporting character who barely appeared. She only existed in the villain Qin Si’s background story. Qin Si grew up in an orphanage and was later adopted by the Lu family.

Lu Nian remembered this character only because they shared the same name and surname.

But did the original Lu Nian have any grudges against him?

Qin Si seemed to look at her more fiercely than he looked at those who had just beaten him.

Lu Yang and the tall boy released their grip. Before anyone could react, Qin Si jumped up and bit the little fat boy’s arm fiercely. The fat boy screamed and tried to punch him again. Lu Yang, relying on his height, restrained Qin Si together with the tall boy.

“Don’t—” Lu Nian’s mind went blank. Without thinking, she rushed forward to pull Lu Yang away. But her body was too weak. The little fat boy’s arm blocked her, and she was pushed back several steps.

This building was four or five meters above the ground. The school rooftop seemed far from the teaching area, long abandoned and barren. The roof was wide open, with no protective barriers.

It was dangerous.

Lu Nian had been afraid of heights since childhood. Although the two-story building wasn’t very high, standing at the edge made her legs go weak. She couldn’t stop herself from falling backward.

The little fat boy turned and realized something was wrong.
“Someone — someone is going to jump!”

Damn it — she didn’t want to jump. Her toes had already left the ground.

“She — she jumped!” the little fat boy screamed in panic.

Lu Yang panicked too. “Niannian!”

The wind rushed past her ears.

In the last second before losing consciousness, Lu Nian thought she was definitely the unluckiest transmigrator in history — falling off a building right after arriving. It was even more exciting than an amusement park drop ride.

Dying twice in a row. She was really something.
