Villain's Sick Beauty Sister Chapter 4: Part 2

Ancheng Affiliated Middle School is the best school in Ancheng. The affiliated middle school and affiliated elementary school are together, and students are basically directly promoted. Families are either rich and powerful, or ordinary families with students fierce enough to pass the entrance exams through their own academic performance.

Lu Nian is now in Ancheng Affiliated Elementary School, fourth grade. Because she has missed too many classes, her grades are a complete mess.

Miss Lu usually goes to school for less than two months a year. Basically, she goes only when she wants to. Her mental state is very poor, and her temper is strange. She has attempted suicide several times. Everyone knows her family background, so the teachers don’t dare discipline her and simply let her do as she pleases.

This time, Lu Nian was willing to go to school, and the whole family was overjoyed.

The day of returning to school finally arrived. Lu Nian is afraid of the cold. When she went out in the morning, Zhang Qiuping wrapped her directly into a little fluffy ball. The former Lu Nian loved looking pretty and firmly refused this kind of clothing, but now Lu Nian only wants to stay healthy. As long as she is warm enough, wearing more clothes is fine.

She left the house looking round and bundled up, and the Lu family car took her to the school gate.

There were many drivers and babysitters who wanted to follow her inside. Lu Nian looked at the elementary school students coming and going around her. Some were much younger than she was and still walking alone. Feeling a little embarrassed, she persuaded the babysitters to go back.

She carried her schoolbag by herself and walked toward her classroom following her remaining memories.

Because the elementary and middle school divisions are combined, and it is the most famous private school in Ancheng, the campus of Ancheng Affiliated Middle School is very large. Lu Nian’s sense of direction is not very good, and her memory of the school is vague, so she walked a few steps and then stopped.

The bell for morning self-study was already ringing in the distance, and the nearest teaching building still seemed very far away.

Lu Nian, “…”

Now she regretted sending all those people away. At least they could have taken her to the classroom today.

She didn’t want to be late and quickened her pace. Unexpectedly, while hurrying to find the way, she didn’t see where she was stepping. Her foot slipped into empty air, and she fell directly into a roadside ditch.

Fortunately, there was no water in the ditch, only hard ground. The fall made her bottom hurt badly. Lu Nian tried several times but couldn’t climb up. Mainly, she was wearing too many thick clothes, making movement inconvenient, and her thin arms and legs had no strength at all.

Classes had already started, and there was basically no one on the school road.

Lu Nian held her face and sat in the ditch, staring blankly at the sky, seriously thinking whether she should start taking off her clothes layer by layer to climb out, or sit there for one class period and wait until everyone finished class.

Qin Si saw the white fluffy figure at the end of his sight suddenly disappear.

How could there be such a foolish person?

She couldn’t even walk properly. It was such a shallow ditch, yet she couldn’t climb out.

The little boy stood by the roadside, half a head taller than her. Even in winter he wore thin clothes, looking at her indifferently with a pair of dark eyes.

It was Qin Si.

How did he appear here? Lu Nian was a little surprised, then suddenly remembered that Qin Si also studied here.

She looked him up and down. Her long eyelashes fluttered, and her bright eyes curved with joy.

Qin Si thought indifferently that her happiness was useless. He would not help her. He only came to look at her awkward situation.

Lu Nian blinked her big eyes and smiled.

Seeing her sitting calmly in the ditch as if she were in her own living room, Qin Si fell silent.

“Your injuries are healed,” she said. Seeing the wounds on his hand and face had been carefully treated, she felt relieved. Even squatting in the ditch, she felt at ease.

Qin Si, “…”

The early winter wind was icy and biting. Lu Nian still showed no intention of asking him for help. Qin Si turned to leave, but his feet seemed nailed to the ground, unable to move.

He felt extremely irritated.

Lu Nian watched his back disappear without surprise and continued looking up at the sky. Then the shadow suddenly returned.

Qin Si pressed his lips tightly and pulled her out of the ditch. His movements were simple and rough, and Lu Nian realized he was surprisingly strong.

He didn’t touch her directly, only pulled her through her clothes. Once she stood steady, Qin Si immediately let go, as if she were something dangerous, and quickly stepped several paces away.

Lu Nian was still surprised he helped her. She thought Qin Si would not only refuse to help, but might even throw stones into the ditch.

“Thank you.” The little girl’s voice was sweet and soft, gentle like cotton in the wind.

Qin Si walked ahead of her without saying a word. The boy’s back was thin but straight. Under his school uniform he wore only a thin hoodie. He looked cold, and the tips of his exposed ears were probably reddened by the wind, especially noticeable against his pale skin.

Lu Nian hesitated. She knew Qin Si didn’t like talking to her and found her annoying, but she really wanted to ask him whether he knew which direction her classroom was.

The two walked one behind the other when a figure suddenly ran over from the end of the tree-lined path.

As soon as Lu Yang saw Lu Nian, he stopped.
“Niannian!”

He ran closer and confirmed that Lu Nian was still unharmed. Only then did he let out a sigh of relief. Holding her arm and seeing the mud on the hem of her clothes, he asked,
“Niannian, why are you here? What happened? We’ve been looking for you like crazy.”

The nanny said she clearly saw Lu Nian enter the school, but she never appeared in the classroom.

Lu Nian said quietly, “I accidentally fell.” She glanced at Qin Si, feeling he probably didn’t want to be involved with her anymore.

Lu Yang asked, “Does it hurt? Should brother carry you to the classroom? Or call uncle to take you home?”

Lu Yang is now in the second year of junior high and also studies at Ancheng Affiliated Middle School. The family had long told him to look after Lu Nian at school.

Lu Yang’s grandfather and Lu Nian’s grandfather are brothers. By their generation the blood relationship is already distant, but the Lu Zhihong branch of the Lu family is currently the most successful, so even distant relatives are treated as close.

As soon as he got the news that Lu Nian hadn’t arrived at the classroom, he immediately ran out to look for her.

Because of Qin Si’s earlier incident, Lu Nian really couldn’t feel any goodwill toward Lu Yang. She broke free from his hand and shook her head.
“No, I can walk by myself.”

Only then did Lu Yang notice Qin Si ahead.

Since the “jumping incident” that day, Lu Yang had not seen Qin Si again. That day he wanted to frame Qin Si, but Lu Nian’s words ruined it. Naturally, Lu Yang didn’t think it was Lu Nian’s fault, so he blamed everything on Qin Si for making him lose face in front of Uncle Lu.

Now he found him even more unpleasant.

Lu Yang pulled Lu Nian again.
“Brother will take you to the classroom.”

Lu Yang was fourteen years old, and Lu Nian was several years younger than him. She was physically weak and couldn’t break free, so she had no choice but to let him pull her.

Lu Nian was dragged farther away from Qin Si. She looked back at him one last time and saw his gaze was cold, not even looking at her, completely indifferent.

As expected, Qin Si still disliked her very much. In his heart, she and Lu Yang were probably the same kind of people.

Lu Yang led Lu Nian forward, but felt a chill on his back. He turned his head and saw Qin Si standing far away, watching their backs. Only then did he notice the boy’s dark brows and frightening eyes. He looked even more unsettling than before, quietly staring at him, impossible to read.

Like a young wolf that had something taken from it.

Lu Yang sneered. He was just a little wild child with nothing. What could he possibly do? Lu Yang thought contemptuously.

  1. I understand that she’s disliking Lu Yang because of the Qi Su thing but can y’all be more realistic? She only treats Qi Su good because
    1. So he won’t retaliate against her in the future
    2. Because he’s successful in the future because honestly if Qi Su was some no name guy she wouldn’t care less.
    3. She knows the future- as in if she were a real teenager or a real daughter of a wealthy family or remotely experienced a childhood similar to the original owner she wouldn’t be on that her moral high horse
