Villain's Sick Beauty Sister Chapter 5: Part 1
Lu Yang escorted Lu Nian all the way to the classroom and personally handed her over to the homeroom teacher waiting at the door.
Morning self-study had already ended, and the bell for the first class had rung. The math teacher was already teaching. When Lu Nian appeared at the classroom door, the entire class’s gaze gathered on her at once, full of different emotions.
Children at this age were not very good at hiding their feelings.
Lu Nian had always been a special presence at school. On one hand, her family was wealthy, she was pretty, and everything she used and wore was top-tier. On the other hand, she skipped school year-round, her grades were a complete mess, her moods unpredictable, and her young-lady temper could flare up anytime. Many classmates were somewhat afraid of her.
Lu Nian’s seat was in the best position in the class, the center of the third row. Her deskmate was a cute apple-faced girl who had been secretly glancing at her.
Lin Guoguo’s eyes widened, thinking she had misheard.
Lu Nian decided to study seriously. She thought that fourth-grade elementary school knowledge should be something she could solve with her eyes closed.
But a few seconds later, she clearly saw the questions printed in the workbook.
Pursuit problems. Probability problems. Logical reasoning.
What were these?
Do elementary school students really learn this?
Lu Nian, “…” There was even Olympiad math class.
Ancheng Affiliated Primary School was a private school. After attending classes for a day, Lu Nian discovered that besides the Olympiad math class, they also had foreign-teacher classes, speech classes, and even optional second-language courses.
And she was only in fourth grade.
In fact, even in elementary school, some students at Ancheng Affiliated School already faced considerable pressure to advance to the affiliated middle school. Everyone wanted to stay. Those without wealthy family backgrounds had to rely on their grades. Lin Guoguo belonged to this group.
Lu Nian naturally did not. Even if she scored zero in every subject, she could still go wherever she wanted.
Lu Nian paused awkwardly.
Kids nowadays were really intense…
After a full day of classes, Lu Nian felt exhausted. In her previous life, she had only attended an ordinary middle school and had never felt this kind of pressure.
She thought maybe Lu Nian’s brain wasn’t particularly outstanding either.
And during class today, she realized that perhaps because she had been using Lu Nian’s memories more and more recently, her own memories felt like they were separated by a thin veil. Especially the knowledge she learned in her previous life, which had become very blurry in this body.
It seemed that in this life, if she wanted to get ahead through studying, she would have to work hard.
The middle school division finished later than the elementary school division. After school, the exhausted Lu Nian hid in the classroom for a while. After confirming Lu Yang hadn’t come again to escort her, she finally left the classroom with relief.
As usual, someone came to pick her up. But before getting into the car, Lu Nian suddenly remembered something.
Qin Si was also a child of the Lu family. Since the car picking her up was already waiting at the school gate, she naturally wanted to ask if Qin Si would go home together.
Ancheng Affiliated Primary School and Affiliated Middle School were not far apart, though their teaching areas were separate. Lu Nian knew Qin Si was in fifth grade, one grade above her.
She walked slowly. The girl was small and easily lost among students in neat white uniforms, hardly noticeable.
After finally finding Qin Si’s classroom, she stood on tiptoe and looked around. She quickly spotted Qin Si, but was surprised to see a girl standing in front of him.
A very beautiful girl.
Who was that?
